About Dr. Harlin
Dr. Brian Harlin is a leading provider of colorectal surgical operations and treatments at Colon and Rectal Surgery of Manhattan. At the practice, Dr. Harlin offers patients care for conditions including Crohn’s disease, colitis, pilonidal disease, and diverticular disease in addition to treatments for hemorrhoids, colorectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Harlin obtained his medical degree from the Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1997. He trained in General Surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Center and completed his residency in 2002. His fellowship training was completed at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in 2003. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery and other innovative colorectal surgical techniques.
For patients throughout New York City, Dr. Harlin is devoted to delivering the highest standards of care and works diligently to help patients find relief from symptoms and get back to living their lives. His care is both professional and compassionate, and he truly enjoys helping people dealing with the complex diseases. He has academic appointments at NYU and does most of the surgery there.
He currently resides in lower Manhattan with his wife and their two daughters.

If we do not participate with your insurance and your plan allows out of network benefits, our office staff will assist you with the necessary paperwork so you can receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
